Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium with a capacity of 25,000 spectators  is a cricket stadium located in the Dharamshala city of Kangra valley in Himachal Pradesh is the most beautiful ground of India.

The Stadium is situated at an altitude of 1,457m from sea level and also famous due to the fastest pitch in “India” and has the eye-catching snow capped Himalayan mountains in the background that fascinate the audience from all over the world so many matches have been played here but the first one-day international played between India and England on sunday 27,2013.

Dharamsala stadium is first in India to use winter rye grass scattered around the outfield, which prevents the grass from dying when temperatures fall below 10 degrees.One major feature is its openness and small-sized stands, which allow for winds to sweep across, giving fast bowlers assistance in the air. The two end of stadium is well known by ‘river end’ and ‘College end’.The stadium is developed by Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association under the surveillance honourable president Mr.Anurag Thakur. Most of Himachal Pradesh’s home games are played at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala. The first international team that played here was the “Pakistan international cricket team”. So many IPL (Indian premium league) matches have been played at dharamsala stadium
