Naddi – Sunset view spot

Naddi is one of the beautiful spots among the places to visit in dharamshala. It is famous for watching the splendid sunset, which takes you away from the restlessness of the metropolitan life and noise.

From Naddi you can enjoy the beautiful sunset that you have never ever seen before. The view of the sunset and its golden shade on the dhauladhars that you see from there is breath-taking. Aside from the sunset you get the best view of the pong dam(one of the largest artificial lakes in India ) as well as snow capped Dhauladhar ranges. You experience the whole kangra valley view from this place. From Naddi you realize that , earth is really round .You see the curve at the vicinity.

In your track from Mcleodganj to naddi you come across St. John in the Wilderness church built in 1852 surrounded by devdar (cedar) trees . The place is so beautiful that you would want to have as many camera shots as you can.

Then you follow the track towards Dharamshala and after 300metres you take the right diversion towards naddi. Along the way you come across beautiful and small lake known as dal lake. You can relax here a little bit and enjoy the view for few moments. Or you can enjoy the boating .The atmosphere is very pleasant .

You could see the reflection of devdar tress in the water which compliments the view. Then you can proceed towards Naddi . And this is the place where you want to relish all your future sunsets .You would say thanks to the God for showing you this kind of view.
